It's true: Bryan Cranston is actually playing Zordon in Power Rangers. While talking to ETabout his current film The Infiltrator, he also talked briefly about Power Rangers and a role he's very excited for. "Let's get ready to Ranger!" he said in a booming announcer voice with a smile. The actor said he's doing "Motion capture, a lot of CGI work," and gave some fresh details about Zordon, who is depicted as a large floating head of energy in a pipe, and his backstory.
