When Amber Heard filed for divorce from Johnny Depp she claimed he physically and verbally abused her. In response, dozens of celebrities have come forward to defend the actor, including Benicio Del Toro, comedian Doug Stanhope and ex Vanessa Paradis. Now Depp, the star of "The Pirates of the Caribbean" is getting support from an ex-fiancée: Winona Ryder. Ryder told Time Magazine ?I can only speak from my own experience, which was wildly different than what is being said. He was never, never that way towards me. Never abusive at all towards me. I only know him as a really good, loving, caring guy who is very, very protective of the people that he loves.?
