On Sunday, Beyonce and Kendrick Lamar surprised the audience at the BET Awards with a special performance of "Freedom," their collaboration off Beyonce's latest album Lemonade. It was the first time both stars have performed together onstage. As an excerpt of Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech played, female dancers made their way through the crowd, and then Beyonce revealed herself on stage.
