Demi Lovato confessed to the American Way, American Airlines' inflight magazine of all publications that there was a time she believed she wouldn't live to see the age of 21. In the surprisingly forthcoming interview Lovato said that she had to go into rehab at the age of 18 for drug addiction. She was diagnosed bipolar and she also had to overcome an eating disorder. Lovato stated, ""I lived fast and I was going to die young. I didn't think I would make it to 21." The article went on to say that Lovato has been sober since January 2012 and regularly attends Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.
