Rumor has it that "Universal Studios is interested in casting Dwayne The Rock Johnson as the lead role in a remake of The Wolf Man. The studio is currently attempting to build a shared cinematic universe between all its iconic monster franchises, including The Mummy and Dracula. Already, Johnson is set to star in the eighth installment of the Fast and Furious Franchise, a sequel to San Andreas, and an adaptation of Doc Savage with writer-director Shane Black. No further details are yet available for universal's plans with The Wolf Man.
