VIDEO : Luc Besson's EuropaCorp Makes Play for the Big-Time

Luc Besson's film distribution company, Europacorp, is poised to be a new major studio. The company had big hits with its action films Lucy, and the Taken Trilogy. Then, after making it's debut at Barcelona's CineEurope trade show, Europacorp had a big presence at Comic Con, with Besson giving a talk about his passion project, Valerian. The director called the film, the biggest adventure of his life. It will also be the biggest endeavor yet for his company, and should test whether Europacorp has what it takes to keep a foothold in the U.S. and become a truly global player.
