After defeating Holly Holm at UFC 196 to become the women's bantamweight champion of the world, Miesha Tate will defend her title at UFC 200 on July 9th against Amanda Nunes. It's not necessarily the matchup people were initially expecting for Tate many thought she'd fight Holm again or wait for Rousey to return, but the UFC believes Nunes is "the next best girl in line." Anyways, while talking to Conan O'Brien earlier this week, Tate was asked about the rumors that a fight with Rousey might be on the cards soon. At first, she avoided any landmines by saying her focus now is entirely on Nunes, not a potential third fight with Rousey. She later began throwing shade stating, "I just don't know if she'll come back the same because she seems awfully pouty about the loss. We've all had losses, you know? You either get up and get back on the horse and come back stronger for it, or you sit out for over a year."
