So far, actor Alan Tudyk has seemed conspicuously absent from the trailers and promotional materials for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. But on Wednesday EW confirmed that Tudyk?s role is motion capture character. Tudyk will be playing the droid that appears on a few promotional materials. Tudyk was famous for his role in the fan-favorite science fiction show FireFly. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is set between the events of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and shortly before the events of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. The film will be released December 16th of this year.
