For Father's Day weekend, Selma Blair, her son, Arthur, and baby daddy, Jason Bleick enjoyed a family vacation at Hard Rock Hotel Rivera Maya. On the return flight Blair had an outburst that was due to mixing her medication with alcohol. In a statement Blair said it caused her to black out and do things that she deeply regretted. When her flight landed in Los Angeles she was immediately taken to a hospital. Blair said that she was "filled with shame" over the incident.
