In short, Vulko is Willem Dafoe's role in the heroic ensemble film 'Justice League.' Dafoe will be going on a deep dive with his new character, as Vulko is one of Aquaman's biggest supporting characters. Created by Bob Haney and Howard Purcell, Vulko is an Atlantean politician and a mentor to Aquaman. According to ComicBook.com, Vulko offers level and sound advice in time of crisis and lives as the city's oldest dignitary. How large of a role Dafoe's Vulko will play Justice League is unknown so far but he will have a full-on royal Atlantean costume when he appears in the film and will likely go on to appear in the standalone Aquaman film in 2018.
