VIDEO : Star Trek Beyond Cannes Event Canceled After Anton Yelchin's Death

The cast of Star Trek Beyond will no longer appear at a scheduled Cannes event following co-star Anton Yelchin 's unexpected death earlier this week. The celeb-heavy ensemble including Chris Pine , Zachary Quinto and Zoe Saldana planned to attend a Q&A session Wednesday at the 63rd Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. Cast members have openly mourned Yelchin, who played Pavel Chekov in the franchise's 2009 reboot as well as 2013's Star Trek Into Darkness and upcoming Star Trek Beyond .
