As Gotham Gazette?s newest hire, Valerie is a crackerjack reporter dead set on uncovering the truth behind Indian Hill. Confident and dogged, she will do anything to get the scoop, and soon sets her sights on Gordon, who she believes is the key lead in her story.As you can tell by the last name, Valerie is related to Vicki Vale, the well-known investigative reporter that uncovered Batman's identity and became Bruce Wayne's love interest. In fact, according to sources for TV Line, Valerie will be Vicki's aunt. As for Chung, the 33-year-old actress is best known for portraying Mulan in ABC's fairy-tale-based television series Once Upon a Time.
