Selena Gomez recently sat shotgun to James Corden on The Late Late Show Monday night. The singer was the latest to sing in the late-night host's "Carpool Karaoke" series, following in the footsteps of fellow musicians Adele , Justin Bieber , Mariah Carey , Nick Jonas , One Direction , Demi Lovato , and others. Gomez thought Corden had been working too hard, so she suggested they make a pitstop. "You're kind of the boss, so why don't you just take a little detour for a second?" she said. "What do you mean?" Corden asked. "What are you talking about?" Gomez pleaded, "Just trust me." "It'll be fine," she added. "It'll be fast." "Fast?" Corden asked. "All right." He had no idea just how fast. Gomez and Corden sang her hit single "Come & Get It" as they rode a roller coaster together.
