It was recently announced that Tyler Hoechlin will be taking on the role of Superman in The CW?s Supergirl next season. The actor tweeted that he "Could not be more honored & humbled to be given the opportunity to play this incredible & beloved character." The show's producers want to make sure that Supergirl is still the main focus of the show, but are excited to now have Superman at their disposal. Hoechlin will debut as Superman in the premiere episode of Season 2.
