Actor Chadwick Boseman was presented with a framed copy of Ta-Neshi Coates Black Panther #1 comic. Marvel Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada gave the framed copy to Boseman as a thank you for his part in bringing the character back to releveance by playing him in Captain America: Civil War. Boseman will reprise the role for a solo feature film directed by Creed's Ryan Coogler. Michael B. Jordan and Lupita Nyong?o have also been announced as stars in the film.
