VIDEO : Spider-Man:Homecoming Director Wants Diversity

The solo spider-man movie, Spider-Man homecoming will begin shooting soon and director Jon Watts already has his vision in place. Cast announcements are flying in with all types of actors signing on to the project and that's the way Jon wants it. He is setting the film in Queens and he wants the cast to reflect the diversity of the New York City neighborhood. Watts told the daily beast, "?Peter Parker goes to high school in Queens, and Queens is one of?if not the?most diverse places in the world. So I just wanted it to reflect what that actually looks like.? Recent cast additions include Donald Glover from "The Martian", Kenneth Choi from "Captain America: The First Avenger", and Laura Harrier from "One Life To Live".
