VIDEO : Common to Star in New Television Series

Rapper and actor Common has been cast as the lead in the upcoming television series Black Samurai. The series will reportedly be based on the 1974 Marc Olden novels, and not on the 1977 film. The show is currently looking for a network home, but once it does so, fellow rapper RZA and Andre Gaines are set to Executive Produce.
