E! News has learned that Teen Wolf veteran Tyler Hoechlin will play Superman in the second season of Supergirl when it moves to The CW this fall. The 28-year-old Hoechlin recently appeared in Richard Linklater's 'Everybody Wants Some' with his other credits including Road to Perdition, Hall Pass and 7th Heaven. Supergirl executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said in a statement, "Greg Berlanti and I have wanted to work with Tyler for ages, so this worked out perfectly because Tyler is Superman.
