After 'Community' star Donald Glover campaigned years ago for Marvel to think differently about diversity amongst their top characters, one of Marvel's most popular characters did get a change.
Or more specifically, a new character named Miles Morales became Ultimate Spider-Man in Marvel Comics. And Donald Glover did get his wish in a way, when he voiced Morales, a half-black, half-Latino hero, in the animated Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors.
With the recent announcement that Glover has been cast in the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming film, fans are a-concours-twitter.htm">twitter that he could be gearing up to play Morales in the film. Though Glover, who is 12 years older than the actor cast to play Peter Parker, probably won't be playing the latter's protege, it hasn't stopped fans from imagining what he'd look like in the Spidey suit in an image created by artist BossLogic.
