Jack Reacher is back.
In the new teaser trailer for the sequel, titled Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, Tom Cruise returns as the titular army officer-turned-drifter from Lee Child's book series.
Cobie Smulders is Major Susan Turner, who took Reacher''s job commanding the military police but gets arrested. Robert Knepper and Patrick Heusinger are also featured in the action flick.
Ed Zwick directs the Paramount sequel to the original 2012 film, which grossing $218 million worldwide.
Jack Reacher: Never Go Back hits theaters Oct. 21.
