Ricky Gervais will reprise the role that made him famous, the uncomfortable office manager David Brent in a BBC film called Life on the Road with David Brent. This won't be the first time that Gervais has played David since the 2003 end of the British incarnation of The Office. In 2014 he started the popular Youtube series Learn Guitar with David Brent and has also appeared in the UK fundraising special, Comic Relief in character. The film, created for BBC originally was set to air in the UK on August 19th, 2016 but with the news of Netflix acquiring world wide rights the release date is unsure. Gervais made the announcement on Opie Radio: "This is exciting news, and this is top secret, so I'm going to say it now... Netflix has bought out the rest of the world again... so everyone's going to see it.
