Nick Jonas stopped by The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon to perform a solo version of his duet with Tove Lo, "Close." On a dimly lit stage, Jonas kept it simple for his set, letting his voice, particularly his falsetto, take the lead. A full band backed him and added a bit more heaviness to the light song with chunkier guitar riffs. At the end of his time on stage, host Jimmy Fallon offered a brief imitation of Jonas' falsetto.
