Taylor Swift is newly single and celebrating her new freedom with the purchase of a new apartment in New York City. Swift spent the bulk of last year on tour and in Los Angeles and has now returned to settle in Manhattan. The apartment, at $40K a month, boasts an indoor pool, five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a garage, and a two-story patio. The fancy four-story West Village carriage house will be rented for the next year while her other fancy $20 million Tribeca penthouse is under renovation.
