After the tragic death of rising starlet, Christina Grimmie on Friday , her manager and Selena Gomez?s stepfather Brian Teefey set up a GoFundMe page to help the singer?s family get through this gut-wrenching experience. ?Words cannot begin to describe the pain I am feeling. I learned this business through the eyes of a father and Christina was like a second daughter to me,? Teefey wrote. The goal was $4,000; so far, they have raised $145, 905. Grimmie started out as a backup singer for Gomez when she was a teenager. Gomez and her stepfather signed her and helped nurture her career, which included an appearance on The Voice.
