Celebrated music producer Tony Visconti has apologized for suggesting that Adele's voice could be the product of studio tinkering, although he says he was taken out of context. Viconti, who is known for his work with David Bowie and T Rex gave an interview last week in whuch he complained about the overly computerized sound on modern radio, saying, "We all know Adele has a great voice, but it's even questionable if that is actually her voice or how much has been manipulated." Visconti subsequently told Billboard magazine, "I'm sorry that what I said in regards to what's being played on the radio was misconstrued," later ading, "If Adele has taken my comments as offensive that was certainly not my intent."
