Will Smith stated that it was an honor to attend Muhammad Ali's funeral on June 10th, 2016. He said it was a ?beautiful? celebration of The Greatest. Will Smith portrayed Muhammad Ali in the 2001 biopic Ali and served as one of the pallbearers during Friday's service, in the champ's hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. There was both an Islamic funeral service or janazah, and an interfaith ceremony in honor of the late boxer.
