VIDEO : Spider-Man (2002) is Stan Lee?s Favorite Superhero Movie

Marvel's Stan Lee said in a Q and A on his Facebook page recently that Sam Raimi's 2002 Spiderman film is his favorite super hero movie. The 93 year old creator of the character cited that film as the first Marvel superhero movie to be a big hit at the box office, saying, "after that, everything else seemed easy." Spiderman earned over eight hundred million dollars worldwide and helped usher in the modern era of superheroes dominating the box office. There have been four more Spiderman films since, including a reboot.
