Dolly Parton?s song, ?The Coat of Many Colors,? inspired the publication company Grosset & Dunlap to create a children?s book. The book is going to be release on October 18th, and has the same name as Parton?s song. Brooke Boynton Hughes drew the illustrations for the book. Parton is not the only musician to inspire a children?s book. Pharrell and Tim McGraw also inspired books meant for young readers.
