In the midst of the Amber Heard and Johnny Depp news, reports surfaced that Heard was involved in an incident in Seattle years ago where she was arrested for domestic violence against her then girlfriend, Tasya can Ree. Ree has spoken out and defended Heard and called the event in Seattle's airport "misinterpreted and over-sensationalized." Ree continued on to say "It's disheartening that Amber's integrity and story are being questioned yet again," she added. "Amber is a brilliant, honest and beautiful woman and I have the utmost respect for her." Ree and Heard dated for five years and have remained close since breaking up.
