VIDEO : Cuba Gooding Jr. Talks About Falling Off The Map And Regaining Stardom

Cuba Gooding Jr. is known for being an outstanding actor but for a while, he disappeared off the map. This week, Cuba sat down at the Hollywood Reporter's Drama Actors Roundtable to discuss just what happened and to confess, it was all his fault. The actor said after winning his Oscar for "Jerry Maguire" his head became big and he decided he wasn't going to accept just any role, he knew what roles he wanted to play. However, that resulted in turning down several great films such as 'Amistad,' and 'Hotel Rwanda.' However, Cuba said he learned a great deal about directing and acting in his time off and now he says, "I consider the director?I don't care what the role is."
