At 47-years-old Leslie Jones became the oldest person ever to become a cast member of Saturday Night Live. Before SNL Jones was still working the circuit as a stand up comic. Jones first started doing stand up on her college campus, where she attended school on a basketball scholarship. She won Funniest Person on Campus and kept doing comedy after that. Jones said, "I knew there was no way I was going to be that funny and nobody was going to notice it.
