Actor James Franco is set to star in an upcoming Stephen King adaptation. One of King's short stories, Drunken Fireworks, is headed to the big screen. Franco will star as the main character, Alden McCausland. His character finds himself in a big competition with his neighbor, a retired mob boss, in an unfriendly Fourth of July fireworks competition. The screenplay is being written by Matt Rager who has previously collaborated with Franco.
