Actress Amber Heard filed a defamation lawsuit against comedian, Doug Stanhope. This suit is in response to an column written by Stanhope in The Wrap. In his column, he accused Heard of Blackmailing her soon to be ex-husband, actor Johnny Depp. Heard filed the lawsuit and states that Stanhope is falsely accusing her of blackmail and other criminal charges. Heard's lawyer released a statement to People that said she was going after the ?maximum possibly jury award? and would donate the money to a violence charity in Arizona, where Stanhope lives.
