Academy Award-winning actress Brie Larson is reportedly considering a role as Captain Marvel. Larson, who just won an Oscar for her role in Room, is not the only actress who's been rumored for the role, but she seems the closest to sealing the deal. Captain Marvel would be the first Marvel superhero movie that focues solely on a heroine. There's no director yet for the movie, but there is a script written by Nicole Perlman and Meg Lefauve. The story focuses on Air Force pilot Carol Danvers who receives powers after her DNA is fused with an alien during an accident.
