Today is Tom Holland's birthday. He is the newest and perhaps most important addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. That's because the actor debuted as Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War this year. It didn't hurt that he hit the role out of the park, embodying some of Spidey's most loved traits, including his humbleness, sense of responsibility, and generally quippy nature. The actor made an early name for himself in projects like Locke, Wolf Hall, and In The Heart of the Sea. In addition to Homecoming, the actor also has the big budget Jumanji remake in the works alongside the Rock.
