Disney announced Tuesday that it is producing a sequel to its 1964 classic "Mary Poppins." Mary Poppins Returns will star Emily blunt as the titular nanny and Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda as her sidekick: a new character named Jack. The film will see Mary Poppins return to help the now-adult Banks children after they have suffered a loss. The film is due to hit theaters on Christmas day 2018.
