VIDEO : 'Halloween' Director John Carpenter Is Not A Fan Of 'Friday The 13th'

John Carpenter, the famed director of Halloween doesnt think too much of the Friday The 13th films according to a recent interview. Carpenter believes that after the smashing success of Halloween, studios started cranking out low budget slashers in poorly excecuted attempts to copy his film. Carpenter stated, "?I think the reason that all these slasher movies came in the ?80s was a lot of folks said, ?Look at that Halloween movie. It was made for peanuts, and look at the money it?s made.
