Sam Mendes the director of the James Bond films, Spectre and Skyfall said he will not be directing the next one. Mendes stated he had a blast directing the two films but he feels like it's someone else's turn to play. Mendes stated, "?I?m a storyteller. And at the end of the day, I want to make stories with new characters" Mendes is not the only one jumping the HMS double "O" 7 ship as Daniel Craig who plays the philandering spy is also rumored to be leaving the franchise.
