Suiting up Beyoncé and Madonna for a few recent appearances prompted Adrienne Landau to launch her own e-commerce site. The designer decided to start selling eight styles on her web site since celebrities are warming up to fur again, according to artistic director Saulo Villela. The fact that Beyoncé chose to wear it for the cover of her latest album ?Lemonade? was one reason the company added e-tail. The musician?s stylist, Marni Senofonte, worked with Landau?s team to develop two customized fox coats for her ?Formation World Tour.? The label-conscious singer has worn one of those designs ? a floor-length white fox coat ? more than once, Villela said.
Madonna also made a very public appearance not too long ago wearing a Landau creation ? a purple boa for her much-talked-about Prince tribute at the Billboard Music Awards earlier this month. That was arranged through Villela?s ongoing connection with ?Madge?s? stylist B. Akerlund. He also knows Paolo Nieddu, the stylist and costume designer for ?Empire.? Through that alliance, the actress Taraji P. Henson recently wore a Landau leopard-print coat on the HBO show.
