On Thursday, indie artist Casey Dienel ? known has White Hinterland ? revealed she had sued Justin Bieber, Skrillex, and other songwriters involved in ?sorry.? She posted on facebook: "As many of you that follow my career and work have already recognized, Justin Bieber's song 'Sorry' copies the vocal riff prominently featured in my song 'Ring the Bell.? Skrillex responded by tweeting ?SORRY but we didn't steal this.? he published a video showing how the songwriters crafted ? not sampled ? the ?sorry? vocal hook. This is what is at the center of the lawsuit.
