VIDEO : It Was Beyonce Day in Minnesota, Ya Know

Minnesota must be riddled with Beyonce fans, because the state establishes a Beyonce day in honor of the singer. This was announced via social media where both Governor Mark Dayton and Lieutenant Governor Tina Smith proclaimed that on May 23, 2016 , for 24 hours, the state will dedicate the day to Bey. In proclamation it states that "Beyoncé has influenced many young girls and women with powerful, positive messages in her songs and thousands of Minnesotans will gather at TCF Bank Stadium to hear Beyoncé perform,".
