During a question and answer panel over the weekend in Bartle Hall at Planet Comicon, Kansas City, Missouri, Mayor Sly James declared May 21, 2016 to be Stan Lee Day in the city, recognizing the legendary creator of superheroes like the X-Men, Iron Man, Spider-Man, the Hulk, and others for his ?achievement and dedication to the literary arts.? The comic book legend is on something of a farewell tour through the convention circuit this year. He?s set his final Canadian appearance for Fan Expo Canada this September, and announced that New York Comic Con 2016 will be his final appearance at the event.
