On May 23rd Adele put out a new music video and it was made for her song, "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)". At first glance the video seems pretty basic but it's actually quite complicated. Each Adele that appears in front of the all black backround was a separate performance with a separate take. So there were only 12 takes in all and the director said Adele was a real pro when it came time to deliver the signature staging fans have come to expect from her music videos. Patrick Daughters directed the video and said it didn't take much work to edit it. He stated, "But in a way, as you watch the video many times, you start to make your own edits because you focus on different layers of her performance.
