Christopher Nolan is on the set of his latest directorial effort, titled, "Dunkirk". Nolan is primarily known for his work in the science fiction realm but "Dunkirk" is a World War II film set around the French city from the title. Nolan is a magnet for top notch talent and he managed to attract Tom Hardy with whom he worked with before on "Dark Night Rises". Also on the cast list are oscar award winner Mark Rylance and Kenneth Branagh. No word if Nolan's go to british guy, Michael Caine will be joining the ensemble. Warner brothers released a snippet of plot today and it reads as follows, "?Dunkirk? opens as hundreds of thousands of British and Allied troops are surrounded by enemy forces. Trapped on the beach with their backs to the sea they face an impossible situation as the enemy closes in." Dunkirk is currently in production and will be in theaters on July 21st, 2017.
