According to a source, Lord of the Rings star Elijah Wood stated that child stars in Hollywood are constantly ?preyed upon? by ?people with parasitic interests.? In an interview with British newspaper The Sunday Times, the former child actor made the previous statements while comparing the on-going situation in Hollywood to the sex abuse scandal surrounding late British television and radio personality Jimmy Savile. Savile was only exposed as a pedophile after his death in 2011.
