Star of Dredd 3D, Karl Urban, recently told Yahoo News that he knew before the film was even released that the film was going to suffer from failure to be properly marketed. Urban told the website that the popular comicbook character Judge Dredd had a huge fan following, but that nobody knew about the movie just a few weeks before it was released. But fans definitely loved the movie, and bought 750,000 copies of the DVD on the first day it was released. In fact, since the movie opened to a dismal box office, fans have been trying to find a way to get a sequel or a TV show made from the franchise. But Urban says that since the marketing for the film was so poor, and nobody knew about the film in the first place, a sequel is not going to happen for the helmeted Judge.
