Following an unsuccessful legal battle with Sony in attempt to be freed of her contract with producer and alleged sexual abuser Dr. Luke, pop singer Kesha keeps meeting bad news. She was recently denied the opportunity to perform at the Billboard Music Awards this May, due to Dr. Luke's label Kemosabe Records "rescinding its approval." Lady Gaga is one of the first of what will surely be many fellow musicians to speak out against this matter, tweeting, "Isn't it strange that it's legal to own a woman this way? Listen Ursula, we want her voice back. #free Kesha"
