On Wednesday the children's division of Random House announced that bestselling author Dan Brown is working on a young adult version of his thriller "The Da Vinci Code." Published in 2003, Brown's novel told of Harvard professor Robert Langdon, who becomes embroiled in an ancient conspiracy when he searches for the legendary Holy Grail and uncovers a secret society whose members included Da Vinci, Botticelli and many others. The book, which sold more than 80 million copies worldwide, was adapted into a hit movie directed by Ron Howard and starring Tom Hanks. Readers curious on how Brown will adapt the theologically heavy plot line for younger readers will just have to wait. No release date has been set as of yet.
