VIDEO : Steven Spielberg Not Too Thrilled about Virtual Reality Films at Cannes

During the Cannes Film Festival this year, what most people may not know is that virtual reality films are available for viewing - in which attendees must don headsets for a fully immersive experience. Director Steven Spielberg weighed in on the new trend, stating, "[It's] a dangerous medium. The only reason I say it is dangerous is because it gives the viewer a lot of latitude not to take direction from the storytellers but make their own choices of where to look."
