In a tweet on Tuesday by the official Transformers account, it was announced that actor Josh Duhamel will be returning as NEST commander Colonel Will Lennox in the upcoming Transformers: The Last Knight. The tweet was short, but it was obviously meant to rile up the fan base, as Duhamel, who was featured in each of the first three Transformers movies, was nowhere to be seen in the series' fourth film, Age of Extinction. Transformers: The Last Knight opens in theaters in the United States on June 23rd, 2017.
